Fishmeal with vegetative components.
The question of use of an adipose fish with high activity of enzymes and mild fabric for effecting fodder products remains unsolved by traditional fish meal technologies.
The direct fatty fish drying conducts to reception of high fat content product. The application of pressing or centrifugation for fat abjection as a rule unsufficiently reduces fat content and provide large protein losses with effluent.
To remove these lacks become possible in the technology of fodder fish/vegetative admixtures. In this case crushed fish (any fat content and any fish characteristics) is admixed by the certain interrelation with dried highly proteinaceous fat extracted component (components) with the subsequent desiccation.
The fish and vegetative components interrelation pays off in dependence on product purpose a with the optimized amino acids composition.
The offered technology allows to reduce the raw material charge, completely utilize all components of fish, to avoid ecological problems with effluent, to utilize the standard fish meal process equipment, considerably reduce energy charge and to receive a product with the designed chemical composition. Cost of these products is much lower than a fodder fish meal at similar biological and energetic value.
In dependence on chemical composition the fishes and kind of vegetative components were obtained products with the contents of protein about 45 %. Amino acids composition of a new product is submitted below.
As vegetative components it is recommended: toasted rapeseеd meal, cottonseed meal, sunflower seed meal, toasted soy-bean meal.

Our installations for fish meal and fat successfully worked for processing an anchovy and other kinds of fish. Principle of their work - pressing of raw mass after thermal processing for abjointing fat with the subsequent drying of fat extracted mass. By this principle all installations in the world work practically.
In some installations instead of pressing centrifugation applyed.
The success of fat abjointing depends on raw material kind of and its state. The basic problem of all press and centrifuge fish meal machines is liquid wastage formation. This wastage contains a plenty of valuable protein and water-soluble vitamins.
Besides the liquid wastage makes additional ecological problems. Now we develop more modern technology of fodder fish - vegetative products on the basis of our standard installations. The product is good balanced on biological value.
The fish charge considerably decreases, there is complete salvaging of fish without any technological wastage. We shall present with pleasure description of technology and equipment for classical fish meal, and equipment and technology of a new product.
Technological fishmeal with vegetative components peculiarities are:
- All fish nutrients (fat, protein, mineral substances, and vitamins) are preserved in the product. Complete protein utilization, and also utilization
of the most biologically important water soluble fractions, makes the fodder product especially valuable.
- In this technology the hardness of heat processing is much reduced, because
raw material is not boiled soft and the process of drying is reduced due to the fact that fish mash has become more loose.
(Hardness of heat processing is multiplication of processing temperature by operational time). The higher hardness is, the more Shiff substances are foemed in the product (its a chemical compound of protein and fat). Practically such compound is not assimilated in animals and mans organisms.
- Obtained product contains low percentage of fat.
- This technology corresponds to the ecological standards. Actually there is no water waste after finishing the processing.
